Dreams and Aspirations

Dreams,

We all as young children dream about becoming something great one day, regardless of who we are, race or gender. There are stereotypes that come along with different career paths. For example `they say the only way a black person can make it out the hood is through music or sports` maybe it appears that way but its not neccessarily true. We as individuals have our own interests and what we decide to do with it is what makes our future. Regardless of what has happenend in our past or our parents past, it is up to us to make our future better. If you have read my previous blog, I am an example of someone who took charge of my actions and not let my past hold me hostage from becoming someone. Ultimately it is God who decides where we go in life but to have an interest in something and asking him to deliver is where your dreams start.

Motivation will almost always beat mere talent. - Norman R. Augustine

A highly motivated individual will do whatever to continue to become better in whatever it is that he or she wants to thrive in. The talented individual moves along as well but only with talent. On the way to developing this talent the motivated individual learns many lessons on the way and therefore appreciates and have more of an understanding of what it takes to work hard and truly be motivated or destined for greatness. What have you done that made you a better person, What will you do to give yourself a better future, there is no motivation like self motivation.
